Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 44 Remington Magnum
From the private collection of one of my personal best friends please find his unfired and nearly mint condition Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 44 Magnum revolver bearing serial # 121044. He purchased the gun new in 1973. The gun has never ever been fired and no cartridge was ever placed in its recessed chambers. The revolvers finish is a deep high luster blue that I feel rivals the best of Colts Python Royal Blue finishes back in their day. The pinned barrel is 6 ½ inches long and has a red ramp front sight and of course the white outline adjustable rear sight. The only wear present, if you would want to call it that, is a very faint thin line on the cylinder and that occurred by him cycling the revolver a few times. This is almost invisible but there. The revolvers hammer and trigger are of the wide target variety and have extremely bright case colors remaining. The walnut target stocks are in excellent un-marred condition and have great grain, color and contrast as well. The gun will ship to the buyer with the original cardboard box and its walnut presentation case with cleaning tools, paperwork. The revolver did not have the owner’s manual when purchased, it was likely misplaced by dealer. The case interior has done what virtually all of them have done over the years and the blue exhibition felt has parted ways with the plastic case liner and the blue felt has also separated from the foam liner. It would be very difficult to find a better one.
