Description:
Custom stocked Winchester M70 barreled action in 270 Winchester. Serial number indicates 1948 manufacture and all metal remains unaltered and in excellent condition. Correct M70 sights with hood on front sight. Classic style Maple stock with fiddleback the full length of the blank. This piece must be seen to be appreciated. Barreled action is bedded in the wood and very well done. Ebony forend tip and pistol grip cap with vacant gold oval in cap ready for the new owners initials. Sling eyes on stock. 13 3/4" LOP over a 1" Decelarator pad.Point pattern checkerig with borders that extends over the pistol grip and wrapping around the forearm. The wood is oil finished and also in excellent condition. Nikon Buckmaster 3-9 variable scope with BDC reticle, Redfield one piece base and rings, all excellent. Will separate scope and rifle, please inquire. Overall this piece is in excellent condition and appears not to have been hunted.
