This is a DWM marked pistol with WW1 Imperial military proofs on the right side of the receiver. The pistol has all matching numbers on the metal parts, and retains 85-90% of the original blue finish that has silvered along the exposed edges and projections, most noticeably on the sideplate, as well as at the muzzle. There are some spots of dark freckling and pinprick pitting on the take-down lever, trigger, ejector, and safety; with about 50-60% of the straw color remaining, and an overall plum-brown patina on the stock lug. The checkered walnut grips are unnumbered and are in very good shape with only minor flattening of the points and light surface wear on both panels. A single wartime aluminum base magazine, numbered to a different gun, is also included. This is a very nice 1920 rework FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: German Model: Luger Serial Number: 5871r Caliber Info: 9mm Gauge Info: 9mm |
