Description:
This gun while having numerous handling marks in the wood (they would all come out in a refinish) has great barrels that were proofed at 2 3/4" and they have been untouched since new as they measure .730 and they were proofed at 12 (.730-.740). The gun is tight on face and operates fine. I would recommend a full strip and clean as I can tell the gun has been stored for a long period in a dirty environment but not actually used much as shown by the considerable amount of case color (40%) remaining.
This would make a great introduction to English shotguns with a very usable field gun for a very fair price.
