Rare!!! Collectors Welcome! Antique WWI Period 1913 -1918th. Was mounted on Mauser Gewehr 98 # 2109! GERMAN sniper rifle scope C.P.Goerz/Berlin 4X with rare,front receiver Akah QD sniper mount and base(base,I think repro/machine shop/gunsmith made).Excellent condition for this age scope. Elevation adjustment working good. Lenses in good condition without damages or cracks. Sharp View.Very rare scope! Not typical for 100 or more years rifle scope.(I think was made between 1913-1918) Company C.P.Goerz/Berlin produced rifle scopes in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, C.P.Goerz/Berlin scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adopted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 and K98 Sniping Rifles. All C.P.Goerz scopes are scarce in the USA. Original factory bluing.
