Remington Model 700 Safari Grade, .375 H&H Magnum rifle, with a 24-inch ported barrel, a walnut stock, and a Leupold 2x7 VARI-X IIc scope, as well as iron sights. Based on the month/year code of EK, the date of manufacture was October, 1984. At 98 percent, this rifle is in excellent condition. The walnut stock is practically perfect. The checkering is crisp and shows no mars or other wear. The bright-blue barrel and receiver are in similar condition, with no marks or signs of wear. The magazine floor plate has a half-inch scratch, and the scope has a half-inch scratch on the right rear. The rubber recoil pad is also unmarked. I will be glad to send photos of any parts of the gun you wish to see. I am selling this gun for the owner’s widow; he took excellent care of the gun. Unfortunately, there are no box, accessories, or owner’s manual. I will ship it with the fabric case the owner kept it in. The buyer pays actual shipping by any means requested and insurance, if desired. Ground shipping and insurance will be approximately $40 - $50. I prefer a USPS money order and will ship immediately upon receiving one; we do not need to wait for it to clear. I will also accept a personal check or other money order, however, I will hold the gun until the check or money order clears.
