Description:
Made in 1923, this is one of the best condition Parker Trojans available. It has shiny, mirror like bores, crack-free original factory serial numbered wood, super-tight lock up and great balance, about an inch ahead of the hinge pin. 30" barrels, choked (R) Improved Mod and (L) Full, the bores are .733" with 2-5/8" chambers. The rust blue finish is a very deep and lustrous blue that is flawless, even in the rib matting; with the exception of an area on the left tube where your hand would rest against the barrel. Ribs are tight and barrels lock shut leaving the top lever just to the right of center. Vibrant case colors are conservatively 70%. The wood is proud of the metal and tight to the inletting and the finish is at least 95%. All of the mechanicals operate very well and there are no issues. The pull is 14" over the factory plastic butt and there's 2-3/4" drop at the heel and 1-3/4" at the comb. The checkering is very well preserved and the mullard boarders are very clear and clean.
