Description:
Very early Smith and Wesson Model 36 "Chief Special" 2 inch .38 special Revolver. The serial number of this example is 58646 placing date of manufacture in 1952. Overall condition of this revolver is excellent. The finish is near perfect except for a very tiny rub mark? blemish? on the right side plate. I do not see any marks on the recoil shield or evidence anywhere that it has been fired. Very nice collectible!
