Description:
Winchester Model 52 Pre A Sporter. Serial # 36xxx ( 1936 Production ). Metal retains all of 97-98% Original Blue. Slight wear on Floorplate area ahead of magazine opening ( most likely where it was handled when being carried). Wood retains 98% Original Finish with a few very minor handling marks. Nothing major. Sharp Checkering. Bore is Excellent. Original Early Receiver Sight and Magazine. Gun is Totally Original. Notice the sling. The Original Super Grade Swivels are attached to a very unique Sling. Marked on the front extension S.T.E. 3500 W. Third St. Dayton, Ohio and on the 1" Sling itself, GTE 1918 and the initials J. E. ( I believe ) below, a logo ( Chicago Belting Co. ) with the initials below, H.L. This sling came with the gun and if somebody doesn't want it, I will include the Original Swivels. Also, notice the front sight. Cannot find a makers name but do see U.S. patent dates. This is a very Collectible Early Sporter. FFL or C&R Required. Priced to Sell. Thanks for looking.
