Description:
Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .38-40wcf. The serial number of this example is 7819XX placing date of manufacture in 1915. Overall condition is very good to fine with the barrel and magazine tube retaining 95% of the original factory blue. The bore is perfect (nickel steel) and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is void of any damage and is bright and shiny from breech to muzzle. The action is a clean grey with finish found in protected areas only. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect with no damage observed anywhere! Very nice .38/40 SRC!
