Valmet 71/S
Caliber .223, 17-inch barrel, walnut stock, synthetic pistol grip and forearm, Parkerized. Manufactured in Finland, imported by Interarms, Alexandria, VA. Comes with two factory 30-round magazines and one factory 15 round magazine. Original Valmet single-rivet magazines are extremely hard to find, and quite expensive. ($250-$300). These three are in excellent condition.
The serial number indicates that this rifle was the 678th manufactured between 1971 and 1972.
Condition is excellent. Parkerizing has very slight rubbing marks from extended storage. Mechanically excellent.
12-18-2016 UPDATE: There's a small crack in the buttstock. It can be seen in the second photo. I will accept a lesser offer.
