RARE 50th ANNIVERSARY DUCK STAMP LIMITED EDITION RUGER RED LABEL SHOTGUN
We are pleased to present an UNFIRED / AS NEW Ducks Unlimited, US Duck Stamp 50th Anniversary Ruger Red Label O/U 12 ga. shotgun.
These guns were issued for the 50th Anniversay of Ducks Unlimited (1934-1984. There were 1000 of these guns made for the occaission and each is marked on the trigger guard 1 of 1000. Engraved by Ken Hurst with the 1934 and 1984 Federal Duck Stamp design. These guns are often referred to as the "Ding Darling" shotguns as the 1st Federal Duck Stamp was painted by Jay 'Ding' Darling in 1934. Fully engraved on the receiver and trigger guard. The forend iron and take down latch are lightly scroll engraved as well. Beautiful dark walnut wood stock with original red rubber butt pad. This gun includes the original fully lined leather case with brass plate in outstanding condition.
