Description:
A really excellent Starr civil war carbine, with markings indicating it was issued to the First Arkansas Union forces. The gun is crisp and tight and has a fine bore, with no pits or bulges. A good 95% original blue remains and the case colors are present and strong. The wood is in very good condition with only slight handling marks. SN 15xxx.
The 1st Arkansas Starrs are mentioned in Flayderman and command a premium. Reduced!
