Description:
Cal 44 RF. 20" round bbl, full length mag tube and crescent butt. Carbine sights. Bbl and mag tube are a blue/brown color. The receiver is a nice faded mustard that was polished prior to the engraving. Bore has good rifling with some scattered roughness. Leafy scroll engraving with blank inscription panels on each side. Stocks are a replacement with an oil finish and in good overall condition. S/N 15737 makes this an early 1868 mfd. carbine.
