SCARCE BULLARD TAKE-DOWN SINGLE SHOT .45-85 BULLARD CAL. HUNTING RIFLE CIRCA 1880’S. 28” round barrel with the original elevator rear and adjustable nickel blade front sights. Take-down plate on left side of frame allows removal of barrel and forend and facilitated interchange of barrels in other calibers. Very scarce and few examples known. Desirable and scarce .45-85 Bullard caliber for hunting bigger game. Old nicely done re-blued finish with 99% remaining. Stock and forend nicely refinished as well. Fine working order and very good bore with some light pitting but good well defined rifling. Very tight action.
