Austrian mountain rifle
Post war Austrian built gorgeous mountain rifle Built and sold by Amrusch in Gmunden, Austria. Caliber is 30-06! and not one of the metric calibers. Rifle dates to the early 1950’s. The metal and wood are in exceptional shape. The triggers work perfectly, and the butt plate is a very thick piece of buffalo horn. This rifle has the Tyrolian cheek piece and a very sleek mannlicher full length stock. NOTE this is a rifle length, and not the carbine length. The metal is richly engraved with oak leaves and game. The makers name is on the floor plate. It has EAW mounts that were installed by New England Custom guns and it has a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X scope. Bore is shiny and bright. Wood is solid and has very nice figure and color. The bluing is fine, and there is no pitting, cracks or gouges. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period.
