SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR .45-70 CAL. INFANTRY RIFLE. All original and excellent as U.S. Arsenal refinished for the Spanish American War. Complete and original as to Model with Buffington rear sight and has the correct grooved trigger and Model 1890 Front Sight Hood. 98% blue and excellent markings except the serial number stamp on the rear of the receiver which is partially missing. Excellent Arsenal replacement stock without cartouche. Near mint bore and perfect working order. Very handsome example.
