EXCELLENT BSA (BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS) SNIDER ENFIELD .577 CAL. MARK II* BREECH LOADING INFANTRY RIFLE CIRCA 1867. All original and complete and one of the best we have had. Lock plate stamped “CROWN/BROAD ARROW/1863/ENFIELD” Breech block stamped “B.S.A. CO.” Barrel stamped at breech “*/II”. 30-40% case colors on lock plate and breech block. Barrel with 80-90% original blue. Excellent wood with all the finish and fine Inspector’s cartouche on the right side of the butt. Perfect working order and excellent bore with well defined rifling. Superior example of one of the great classic British arms of the late Colonial era.
