Description:
Remington Double Deringer - Type II, Model 3 -Cal. .41 RF - 3" Bbl. - Batch No. 866 (early to mid-1890s Approx.). Bores are VG+ or better - bright and shiny with sharp rifling but shows some mild rougness. Action is perfect - hinge is tight and undamaged - metal is excellent with no rust, pits or corrosion - shows some very light flaking around the grips from normal handling - retains 99% factory nickel - hammer and trigger retain 98% blue - sharp markings and perfect screws. Original factory pearl grips are excellent and undamaged with very slight shrinkage. A super example of an early Double Deringer, all original and unaltered in Excellent + condition that will make a nice addition to a Remington or early West collection.
