Description:
41 bore percussion. Heavy 24" part oct bbl with solid under rib. Markings read "W Lewis Maker Holmesvill N.Y." Globe front sight, rear lollipop sight and empty rear bbl sight blank. Bbl has some blue but is starting to flake. The piano finish stock is accented with nickel items and include a nickel patch box on the right side and nickel deer, star and dog silhouettes on the left side. Profesionally repaired crack at the wrist. Sound and solid. Single set trigger. Hammer needs some tuning as it doesn't hold at full cock. This is a good looking decorative short rifle!
