FRANKFORD ARSENAL .45 CALIBER CARTRIDGES FOR THE MODEL 1909 COLT REVOLVER – dtd 1912 - 1913: These cartridges for the Model 1909 .45 Caliber Colt Revolver were manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in 1912 - 1913 as indicated by the headstamps, “FA" and the month and two digit year date. Nice examples of these early production run and issue cartridges, that are appropriate for a Mexican Punitive Expedition and World War One display, and great for filling the revolver cartridge pockets on your Model 1909 and Model 1910 Mounted Cartridge Belts and the Model 1910 Pocketed Pistol Cartridge Belts. These are becoming increasingly difficult to find on the loose and I have a limited number.
