Payment Types Accepted: Cash, Certified Check or Paypal Description: This is a fine example of a rare Ithaca 16 Gauge Model 37, Dollar Grade pump shotgun with 28" barrel length. Serial number is 15098 according to the Ithaca gun serial list the gun was built in 1939. The reciever is highly engraved on both sides and on top and the bottom with fine scroll work. The reciever is gold trimmed and the dog and pheasants are gold trimmed along with the ducks on the opposite side of the reciever. The reciever also has silver trimmed clouds on the side with the ducks. The trigger guard has the name of the owner that the gun was built for trimmed in gold "JB BAKER"...the trigger guard is engraved as is the barrel. The overall condition of the gun is excellent. Blueing is 99%. The wood stock and forearm are in super condition just some minor marks from use on the walnut stock. On the side of the reciever with the ducks are a couple of minor scuff marks from use. These guns are highly prized by Ithaca gun collectors. Serious inquiries only. SOLD |
