Presented for sale, you will find an RFI Ishapore 2A1. The proper designation is Rifle 7.62mm 2A1This rifle is chambered in 308 NATO. Often, this rifle is assumed to be converted Enfield; however, it was built around the 7.62 NATO (308 Win) cartridge.
This rifle is in exceptionally good condition considering it is a battle rifle. It still has cosmoline on it. This one appears to be original and not a rework.
Included in the listing is the pictured Model 7.62mm 2A1.
