Description:
Presented for sale, you will find a Springfield M1 Garand rifle chambered in 30 Government (30-06). This piece of history was made by in 1952.
As you can see from the images, this rifle has been fitted with a DPMS synthetic stock.; however, the metal on the rifle is excellent. The images will illustrate the condition of this rifle better than I can describe.
This rifle is out if an estate. The late owner notes indicate it was obtained frok the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).
If you count Nazis, Japs and North Korans, the M1 Grand has probably killed more animals that any rifle every built. If not, it sure did its job well.
