#3565 , Geo Bate 12 Ga 2 ½” chambers ,extractor. 30 “ tubes chocked .002” (loose improved cyl) .027”( tight improved mod)
Bores measure .726 , walls are .033” minimum. 1 1/8 OZ proof. Barrels ring nicely , inside shows
some light pitting that would clean with a .002” to .003” honing. Blacking is in 95% condition with a few pits under and by the left side of the forend ( see picture)
6 pounds 11 oz gun, with a balance point a ¼” in front of the hinge. Anson action with Greener third fastner, manual safety . Tight on breech face. 30% rose and scroll engraving. Double trigger with clean brake , both at 5 pounds.
Nice stock 15” long over a 1” leather covered pad. Drop is 1 ½” and 2 ¼” , cast is neutral. Head of the stock is tight on the action and both finish and checkering are in 90% condition. Snap on forend with horn inlaid tip.
This would be a nice clay gun.
