Description:
Serial #W18714, .45 Colt, 24” octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome copy of the famous Winchester Model 1873 and was imported by Stoeger. The barrel and magazine tube retain nearly all of their original blue finish, while the frame retains 95-97% of the original color case-hardened finish with some mild gray fading along the edges. The smooth walnut forend and stock are both in excellent, original condition with only some minor handling marks and small blemishes present in the original varnish. These are excellent rifles, made to a very high standard, and discontinued in this caliber sometime around 2002. This example is in excellent, little-used condition overall. FFL
