Description:
From J. Taratt London a very fine single shot pistol in approximately 46 cal. It shows some replacement screws and the grip screw should be replaced to tighten the grip/frame joint. Silver finish and engraving are excellent. Trap door grip. 5 3/8" barrel is fine Damascus. I believe the brass ram rod is a replacement as it is a bit long. The trigger strain spring should be cleaned or adjusted. This gun is similar but a bit more ornate that the one owned Andrew Jackson.
