Description:
This 12 gauge Midas grade has 27 1/2 inch barrels and is choked improved cylinder and improved modified. It was made in 1975, well past the salt wood era, and was probably sold in Europe as it does not have the usual St. Louis and Utah barrel markings. It also has the European oil finished stock and forearms instead of the normally seen high gloss polyurathane or epoxy finish. The condition is excellent. The metal is 98%+ and the wood is near perfect. There is a small ding in the vent rib where something must have bumped against it (see picture). It comes complete with the original vintage Browning case and key, which are also in excelent condition. This is the highest cataloged grade and the only one with gold inlays made by FN in 1975 and would be a beautiful addition to any collection.
