Description:
This is a large early pistol that has a 14 inch smooth bore barrel and an overall length of 21 inches. It was made by the Lazarino family of Brescia, Italy around 1800. At sometime during its use the butt of the stock was broken and it has been repaired with a newer metal butt cap and brass trigger guard. The original flintlock functions perfectly and the iron barrel and lock have a smooth gray patina. Due to its large size this is a very impressive pistol.
