Description:
This is a Sterlingworth double manufactured by A.H. Fox ...a Philadelipia manufactured gun in the saught after 16 GA. The length of pull is 14 1/4" over a fajen buttplate (possibly restocked). The forend appears to be refinished at some point with the checkering freshened. The bores are bright however stained from light corrosion. The top of the right barrel about 1/3 of the way back from the muzzle has a light compresion mark, but has not affected the bore. The top lever is left of center but the barrels are tight on face. This is a lovely splinter of a gun that would be a joy to carry in the field while working over your favorite bird dog.
