.52 caliber, 32 5/8 inch barrel, excellent bore, all iron parts even brown, block is silvered and polished case color, excellent wood, block marked "J H Hall/H Ferry/US/1832", many of the original flint Hall rifles were in armories in the south, captured by the Confederacy and converted to percussion.
