This Ruger New Model Blackhawk is one of the few factory produced handguns chambered in .30 Carbine. It is in great overall condition with minimal blue wear on the original factory finish and it is 100% functional. There are some very small areas of high edge wear and a few small areas where there has been some surface rust. See the pictures for close ups. The black painted finish on the alloy grip frame is also in good shape with just some small nicks in the finish from light use. These could easily be touched up by the next owner with a paint pen or small brush and some satin black paint. The 7.5 inch barrel has a perfect bore. The rifling is sharp and strong and the bore is mirror bright. The same goes for the cylinder bores, they are bright with no pitting. The actions locks up tight with no wiggle and the trigger breaks cleanly with a light pull. The silver Ruger medallion original walnut grips have a few small handling marks on them but they are free from cracks and repairs. This would be a great addition to any gun collection and a great shooter as well. The .30 carbine cartridge is capable of taking Whitetail deer and has a reputation for being very loud in this Ruger Blackhawk. Be sure to wear some hearing protection!!
