Description:
Early German Sporting rifle chambered in 8x57 Mauser. This rifle was probably made around 1919-1920, by the Reochwerke Erfurt after the end of World War One . The metal has about 95% plus blue. The wood is about very good condition with a slight age crack about an inch long behind tang. Easy repair. Also there is a repair at the toe. The checkering is still excellent. The bore is very good with strong rifling. It has a two leaf express type rear sight. The reciever is not drilled for a scope. There are also double set triggers. Would be a great shooter and hunting rifle.
