Very good condition: a nice dark wood, with irregularities in the color, some nicks, and the initials J.P. carved in the stock where it would be hidden by a gun strap. Some wear, visible in the photos. Solid, in full working order.
Letter P stamped on the stock behind the trigger. Letter U stamped on the metal ring holding the front strap lock. Letters "S. H.B." stamped inside the stock below the large hand carved initials J.P. Letters HB or MB also stamped on the stock above, difficult to decipher the first letter. M stamped in metal by trigger lock. "I.R. CO". stamped on the side of the rear sight.
