I'm selling a Winchester Model 9422 XTR Eagle Scout 75th Anniversary rifle from 1985. This is one of 1000 manufactured, serial numbers beginning with EAGLE 1 and ending at EAGLE 1000. This rifle is EAGLE 881. My father was the original owner of this rifle. He gave it to me 10 years ago. Now it is time to sell to help my son get started in college. The rifle is adorned with gold plating and high grade American walnut. The receiver has gold etching of Boy Scouts Of America themes and the butt-stock has a 1910-1985 Eagle Scout medallion embedded in the wood. It has never been fired, and to my knowledge it has only been out of the box 5 times. The lever/slide has been opened 1 time. It comes with all the papers, manual, hang tag, original box and the original shipping carton. There are no blemishes anywhere except there is what looks like a tiny little "pit"? in the metal of the forearm cap (see pictures). It is the size of a pin and almost looks like a defect. It was there the last time I took it out of the box about 7 years ago. Not sure how it got there or when or even if it was always there.
It comes with the oak presentation case with the crystal Eagle Scout medallion. Also in orginal shipping carton.
Shipping is cost plus insurance. Rifle weighs 11 lbs and crate is 31 lbs.
