'Lightening' model made in 1963, 26½” M/IC selective trigger, ejectors, 1-3/8” x 2” x 14¼” (factory standard) to Browning butt plate. 6Lbs. 3 oz. Round Knob Long Tang (RKLT) and 'Y'-tang top tang models have long-been the most desirable configuration among collectors. These classic details were changed as cost-cutting measures in 1966. So, the RKLT models typically hold their value more than the later models. This example is Used with a few light handling marks in the wood finish. The wood grain on this gun has exceptional 'character'. Photos are intended to convey the general condition of the item and noteworthy blemishes. All original serial numbered parts including the wood. Action is tight - bores are bright. Function is flawless.
