A very nice Kentucky Rifle, Percussion and about ,50 Cal. It has a gorgeous patchbox which can be automatically opened by pressing on the bottom of the stock(on brass tang near butt). The left side of the stck is carved with a simple but nice pattern.The wood appears to be walnut, dark, but fine checkering near the wrist. Bore is very nicely rifled and is in good shape. A beautiful piece to decorate your hearth.Action tight. Lock is made by Golcher, who did locks for many long rifle makers.REDUCED!!
