SALE PENDING PRICE REDUCED Winchester Post '64 Model 70 Featherweight in hard to find 257 Roberts, in near new condition. Serial number is 35CZY11XXX. This is a very desirable, low recoiling cartridge for small to medium game. There are a couple of small marks in the butt stock, and a tiny amount of blue wear at the muzzle but overall this rifle is near new about 98-99%. The stock is in very good condition with nice crisp checkering on the factory walnut stock complete with a Schnabel fore-end. Barrel length is 22". If this rifle has been fired, I am sure it was no more than a couple of rounds, it is in great condition. The rifle is equipped with "Controlled Feed" extractor, read this to say it has the claw extractor that made the Pre-'64 Model 70 famous. This is a riflemans rifle! The rifle comes with its original factory box with the factory lock, included. This rifle can only be shipped to a U.S. FFL holder, no International shipments. No California sales, sorry. A 3 day (NON-FIRING) inspection period with return privilege is offered, at buyers expense. This rifle, as with all used firearms, should be inspected by a trusted gunsmith before firing. Shipping, Insurance and packing will be at actual cost.
