Description:
Bertuzzi Venere 28 ga., 27-1/2" chopperlump barrels choked .007/.011 (tight improved cylinder/open mod), hand-filed flat top rib, automatic ejectors. Best sidelock features the rounded convex lockplates which bring to life the fabulous upland gamescenes of partridge, quail and pheasant engraved by Creative Arts. Bushed firing pins, double triggers (hinged front), autosafe, splinter forend. The straight-hand stock of highly figured dark European walnut measures 1-3/8" comb, 1-7/8" heel, 3/8" cast off, 14-1/2" pull to a checkered butt. Well-balanced with a touch of bias forward of the hingepin makes for a lively feel in this 5lb, 7oz smallbore. Just a couple of minor handling marks as this has seen use in the field, however toplever is well to the right indicating it is tight as new. Grouse Point Almanac Gold Medal Concours Winner.
