Description:
**** SALES PENDING**** Remington New Model Army in very good condition. All matching numbers with all mfg and military inspector markings present. Bore is strong with very distinct lands and grooves, well frosted that might clean up better. Cartouche is very faint, but the outline can be made out in proper lighting. Action is as tight as a drum that cocks, indexs, and locks up perfectly. Cosmetically, the exterior presents varied areas of soft gray and/or mottled brown patina in varing shades, with blueing present in some areas, especially in protected areas. All screws are very good and serviceable. All photos were taken outside on a very overcast day. This piece undoubtely served in the Civil War, but was not abused. It is an antique, therefore can be shipped directly without FFL transferring. Buyer must be 21 years of age and be able to show proof if requested. Shipping to the lower 48 is $45.00. Insurance is optional. Payment terms: U.S. Postal Money Orders or Certified Cashier's Bank Checks ONLY from the major nation-wide banking institutions, i.e. BOA, Wells Fargo, Chase, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS.
