Attention shooters and collectors! Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 5799141 chambered in caliber .30-06. This excellent original correct grade Garand is not a factory rework, but one of 6,152 that were originally contracted to Harrington and Richardson at the end of their production run of Garands, but were instead produced by Springfield Armory. It shows a mint bore with a barrel date of "SA 1-55," a throat erosion reading of 2 and a muzzle wear reading of 1. A rare rifle with an interesting backstory and a great addition to any collection.
