Description:
Nice mid 1950's 4-screw Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolver (Pre Model 10). The 6-shot revolver is fitted with a 4 inch barrel, diamond checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 S&W Special. The gun is all numbers matching (frame, cylinder, barrel, and grips) and is in excellent condition, retaining about 95-97% of it original blue finish. The grips retain most all of their original finish, with a only a few handling marks/dings, no cracks or chips. The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly. The hammer and trigger retain most all of their original color case-hardening. The gun appears to having been fired very little.
