Description:
Here is a custom-made Double Rifle in 35 Winchester, which is truly a "work of art". To the best of my knowledge the rifle was built in Belgium, but since I can't read German I cannot swear to that. Stamped on the barrels is 118/35 which I take to be 1935. Also stamped on the barrels is "KRUPP" so at least we know who made them. The ingraving is superb as you can see from the pictures and is tastefully done.
The butt plate, cheek inlay, pistol grip cap and tip of forearm are done with Asian buffalo horn. At sometime or another the trigger guard must have been replaced with the metal guard that is on it now, but it still goes well with the rifle. Both triggers are set triggers and there are pins to show which barrels have been fired. The bores show great lands and grooves and altho they are dark they don't appear pitted. The scope on the claw mount does not go with the rifle as I was just using it to show the mounts .
The rifle is a "one of a kind" and I would not be selling it but I am getting up in years and need to find it a new home. Also included are older leather gun case, reloading dies and some empty brass.
