Winchester. Model 43 B.A. Cal. .22 Hornet. 24" barrel. Weighs 6 1/2 lbs. These rifles were manufactured from 1949 to 1957. This rifle is around 1951. This is considered the deluxe model with the checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and a checkered steel buttplate with sling swivels. It is a box magazine feed bolt action. Has a ramp front sight sporting rear sight. It remains in excellent condition. Barrel retains approximately 95% of the original factory blue finish with strong barrel legend. The frame retains all of the blued finish. Walnut stocks are excellent with no cracks or chips and crisp checkering. Trigger guard has 80% original blue. Original magazine. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. A fine quality vintage bolt action chambered for the popular 22 hornet cartridge. Serial # 2827XX
