Winchester. (SOLD) Model 1886. Caliber 50-110 express. 26" Octagon barrel.
This rifle has a case hardened frame and is chambered in
The VERY DESIRABLE 50 express caliber. Dovetailed blade front sight
with brass bead and a three leaf (two folding one fixed ) rear sight. Has
accompanying factory letter that verifies the rifle configuration,"50/110"
caliber, octagon barrel, plain trigger, and that it was received in the
warehouse on April 23rd 1891 and shipped to order number 3634 the next
day. Condition is very good plus. The barrel and magazine tube have 25%
blue with the balance a smooth mottled brown patina. The bolt retains 95%
original bright blue finish. The wood is also very good with some minor
dings and scratches. Markings are crisp and clear . Mechanically excellent.
Shoots great. A very solid 50 Express. Serial number 549XX
