Lenard Brownell Custom Sako, .358 Win., 20" barrel, 5 lbs 14 oz, 13 1/8" LOP over a Neidner style steel butt plate, Sako L579 action with jeweled bolt and follower, Austrian made (likely by Bohler) half octagon barrel with integral full length machined rib with one standing and one folding rear leaves and ramped front post sight, very nicely figured French walnut stock with small schnabel tip, what looks to be an ebony grip cap contoured with a brass diamond inlay in the center, Pachmayer patn. quick release swivels. Excellent condition with minor handling marks. This rifle was featured in the Gun Digest just after being completed in the 1960s and comes with a copy of the page with the rifle described and a photograph.
