Description:
This is a 1933 manufactured Springfield Armory Model 1922 M2 in caliber 22 LR. This is the improved model over the M1 version that had quicker lock time and a headspace adjustable bolt. The Springfield Armory (S.A.) stamp is still visible on the left side of the buttstock, although the amount of linseed oil that has been applied to the stock has filled in the surface of the stamp. The gun appears correct in all areas and comes with the correct magazine for the M2. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves.
