Description:
This Manhattan would be called the series 4 with a Newark N.J. bbl address. Bbl is 6-1/2" long. Cal 36. The series 4 had a 5-shot cylinder. Overall cond is pretty good. Cylinder scene is faint but somewhat visible. Metal has some pin prick pitting throughout but no deep corrosion. Touch up blue in places. British proof marks. Mechanics are VG. Indexes, locks up, trigger and hammer springs good and loading gate works. A great bore. Manhattan was a major player in firearms at one time but went by the wayside. This is a good collectable gun.
