Description:
41. cal. Derringer probably made by "Bruff" in New Your City in about 1850. The barrel is just 1-7/8" long and marked "DERINGER" on the top. The side plate is also marked "DERINGER". The grips are dark walnut with a sliver missing on one side just below the barrel. Action works about half the time, it has difficulty holding in the cocked position. Overall length is 5".
