Description:
For sale is a beautiful Simson & Son 12 gauge over under shotgun. It has 29 3/8 inch barrels, top bore .719 choke .685, bottom bore .725 choke .685 with 2 1/2 inch chambers. it has a solid rib, double triggers, cocking indicators, very pretty wood with skip line checkering and comes in a CSMC case with accessories. The receiver is beautifully case hardened with an engraved setter on the left, fox on the right, pheasants on the bottom surronded by scrollomg. We were told when we purchased this shotgun a few years ago the New England Custom Guns had done the resoration but we have no proof that is who didi the work. Whom ever did the work were certainly professionals. This shotgun was manufactured in the Simson factory, Suhl, Germany after it was renamed BSW in april of 1937. The barrels are marked Simson & Son but the receiver is marked BSW all with serial number 41648.
